Feile Tilting 2016 - Irish Newfoundland Festival - Theme: Remembering

September 25:

5 pm: About 40 singers joined the circle for Celtic to Country at St. Patrick's Hall.

8:30 pm - Irish Pub Night filled the hall followed by the annual draw for local art and donations.

September 24:

2 pm - Wanda introduced and played one of Dan's Facebook videos.
Dan is spending this year's Feile walking in Spain.

3:30 pm - we recorded Maureen's story telling circle at the Slipway.

8 pm - the Tilting 105.9 transmitter was turned off at the request of the dance duo.

September 23:

7 pm - we broadcast the Shed Walk live from Cyril Burke's shed - positive feedback from across Canada and Ireland.

September 22:

10 am: The Marconi Interpretation Centre, Fogo is on air - 102.5 Stereo FM thanks to Tracey's contribution of internet.

12 noon: The Iceberg Arena is on air - 104.7 FM - thanks to Colette and the Town of Fogo Island.

2 pm: The main studio at St. Patrick's Hall in Tilting goes on air - 105.9 Stereo FM.

7 pm: Roy Dwyer kicks off Feile Tilting 16 by hosting readings at the Slipway.

Stay tuned for Feile Tilting 16 - 105.9 Stereo FM in St. Patrick's Hall, 104.7 at the centre of the island and 102.5 in Fogo.

This year we are planning two repeater stations at the Iceberg Arena and at the Marconi Wireless Interpretation Centre.

Feile Tilting 2016 is scheduled Thursday, September 22 until Sunday, September 25.

The broadcast is being simultaneously and globally webcast from this site.
