This tutorial really applies to a community group working with Ryakuga on an FM radio/simulcast special event.

Specifically, you have to be concerned with making sure the site can be accessed the day before the event and/or training for setup.

Setup typically takes about half a day - if there are no problems.

Industry Canada may also require equipment tests which will also take a few hours.

It's helpful to have people on hand to help unload the equipment but the real challenge is putting up the antenna.

It will probably take three strong people to do it safely - but it has been raised (a 24 foot metal mast) by one person.

We will have to securely attach the mast to a building.

It's also useful to have the equipment table close to a window so we can run in the cable from the antenna.

We also need access to power outlets and, for webcasting, a dedicated phone line.

Ideally, we would have two phone lines - one for webcasting and another for calling in.
